CHALLENGE:
To generate buzz around Lavazza’s acceptance of a “Can Do” Award presented by the New York Food Bank for the charitable contributions to end hunger. Additionally, H&S was tasked with introducing Francesca Lavazza to media and build goodwill relationships in support of Lavazza.

SOLUTION: 
H&S invited key media to sit at the Lavazza table at the Food Bank “Can Do” Award Gala held at Cipriani Wall Street. In addition, H&S facilitated red carpet interview opportunities for Food Bank New York City CEO, Magarette Purvis, and Francesca Lavazza to discuss the Food Bank’s mission to combat hunger in New York with key photo, broadcast, print and online outlets.

RESULTS:
The event successfully created newsworthy, locally-relevant buzz resulting in 89,153,317 media impressions. H&S secured 4 key media attendees for the “Can Do” Awards gala to attend as guests on behalf of Lavazza. The event attendees on behalf of Lavazza garnered a total of  23,552 social media impressions.
